The project company HHKW Aarberg has commissioned B+T Engineering AG to prepare a preliminary project for a wood-fired combined heat and power plant on the site of Schweizer Zucker AG.

In the future, this pioneering project will supply heat to the highly energy-intensive sugar factory in Aarberg and feed the generated electricity into the public grid.

The mandate includes the development of the preliminary project, including a study of variants, up to the submission of the building application, in the function of overall project management.
