Renergia Zentralschweiz AG commissions B+T Engineering AG with the planning of the energy center for the new waste-to-energy plant in Perlen.

As a member of the newly formed planning team, our task is, in a first step, to revise the existing concepts for energy use and then to prepare the tender documents. Renergia intends to subsequently entrust us with the execution planning.

Renergia is a groundbreaking project in Switzerland. Founded by all waste management associations in central Switzerland, Renergia does not focus on disposal, as has been customary in the past. Instead, the location for the new plant was chosen to maximize the degree of energy utilization by supplying process steam to the paper mill at the site.

Thanks to the extensive full supply of steam to the paper mill, considerable amounts of fossil fuels can be saved. The new WtE plant thus also makes a major contribution to achieving the climate protection goals of the canton of Lucerne and central Switzerland.
